For sixty years, the China University of Petroleum gradually formed a university spirit of ��being practical and realistic, struggling against adversity, patriotic and devoted, development innovation��, formed a good school spirit of ��being practical and realistic, patriotic and devoted��, formed a good style of study of ��diligence, preciseness, realistic attitude, innovation��. The culture of the China University of Petroleum is continually plentiful, lasting and accumulating.
Journal of Palaeogeography (in Chinese) and Journal of Palaeogeography (in English) developed in the past few years, not only become a forceful propaganda platform, but also specifically reflect powerful support to scientific researchers of the University.
Sixty years is a historic cross-point. For the future, we will strive to accelerate the establishment of a world first-class research university in the following aspects: continuously insisting on belief of ��devoting ourselves to the petroleum industry of our homeland��, insisting on facing the great strategy demands of the country, carrying forward reformation and innovation, elevating quality of talent development, scientific research level and social service ability, advancing culture heritage and innovation.
