摘要: 肿瘤干细胞不仅是肿瘤细胞恶性增殖的来源, 也是肿瘤化疗抵抗和复发的根源。肿瘤干细胞对多种化疗药物耐受是基于其干细胞特性。Bmi-1基因是调控干细胞自我更新和增殖活性的关键因素, 和多种恶性肿瘤的发生密切相关。众多研究结果显示, Bmi-1基因可上调ABC转运蛋白的表达量、抑制细胞凋亡, 通过多种途径介导肿瘤的多药耐药性。本文就Bmi-1基因与肿瘤多药耐药性关系研究进展进行综述。

Abstract: Tumor stem cells are thought to sustain tumor proliferation, chemoresistance and recurrence after therapy.The chemoresistance of tumor stem cells are due to their stem cell properties.Bmi-1 gene plays an important role in self-renewal and proliferation of stem cells, and is associated with a number of malignancies.Bmi-1 gene is reported to display chemoresistance through upregulation of ABC-transporter family, inhibition of cell apoptosis and many other mechanisms.In this review, we make a summary of research advancement on the relationship between Bmi-1 gene and multi drug resistance.
