About the Journal of Palaeogeography (Chinese Edition)

    Journal of Palaeogeography (Chinese Edition) (ISSN 1671-1505  CN：11-4678/P) is a bimonthly journal of earth science. The usual publication dates are the first day of February, April, June, August, October, and December. It is sponsored by China University of Petroleum (Beijing) and China Society of Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry, and published by Science Press. Main published articles from the lithofacies paleogeography, biological paleogeography, tectonic paleogeography, and paleogeography of sequence stratigraphy, sedimentology, quaternary ancient geography, human history and paleogeography and sedimentary environment, sedimentary facies, the ancient ecological, palaeostructure, geomorphology, paleoclimate and ancient karst hydrological, ancient, ancient soil, the geography research methods and technology, the mineral resources exploration  and development as well as ancient and modern geographical environment and human civilization and other disciplines and academic fields.
    Journal of Palaeogeography (Chinese Edition) is a "T1 Level" geoscience journal elected by China Association for Science and Technology. It has been awarded "Excellent Sci-Tech Journals of Chinese Universities", "Top 100 Sci-Tech Journals of Chinese Universities", and "Excellent Academic Journals of China with International Influence" for many times in recent years. In 2020, it is one of  300 Chinese science and technology periodicals awarded "China Science and Technology Fine Collection Journals".
