Abstract: Glioblastoma(GBM)is the most common intracranial malignant tumor, characterized by high malignancy, high recurrence rate, and poor prognosis.Currently, there is still a lack of unified treatment plan for recurrent GBM.After receiving standard treatment including maximum safe resection, postoperative concurrent radio-chemotherapy,and temozolomide adjuvant chemotherapy, the median survival time of GBM patients was only 14.6 months.Recent studies have shown that tumor treating fields(TTFields),as a novel physical therapeutic approach, can significantly prolong patient survival and improve quality of life. This article systematically elaborates on the antitumor mechanism of TTFields in GBM,with a focus on analyzing its synergistic effects with radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy, and exploring the challenges and development prospects of clinical application.
