Abstract: Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor in women worldwide, and its occurrence and development are related to various factors such as heredity, environment, and hormone levels.Recent studies have found that long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)play an important role in the occurrence and development of breast cancer. The urothelial cancer-associated 1(UCA1)gene is a kind of lncRNA,which was first discovered and named in bladder cancer, and its expression was up-regulated in various malignant tumors such as gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, malignant melanoma, and ovarian cancer. This article reviews the relevant roles and mechanisms of UCA1 in breast cancer. It aims to understand the role of UCA1 in the occurrence and development of breast cancer,to provide new indicators and new therapeutic targets for the prevention, diagnosis and recurrence of breast cancer.
