Abstract: Objective To investigate the differential diagnosis method between brain glioma recurrence and radiation-induced brain injury. Methods 33 patients with glioma recurrence and radiation-induced brain injury were selected, the symptoms and sign data of patients were collected,MRS examination was performed in all patients. Results Glioma recurrence and radiation-induced brain injury patients showed approximately same clinical manifestations, which was no significant difference between two groups;Cho/Cr and Cho/NAA ratios were significantly higher in recurrent glioma than that in radiation injury(P<0.05).Conclusion The results suggest that the MRS examination should be applied to determine glioma recurrence and radiation-induced brain injury.
