Abstract: Objective To investigate the expression of TRADD and NF-κB in hepatocellular carcinoma and liver cirrhosis after HBV-infected and its clinical significance.Methods Western blot was used to detect the protein expression in 35 HCC and 35 LC cases.The Results were statistically analyzed by Fisher′s exact test.Results Expression of TRADD was found in 24 of 35 cases in HCC and all of 35 cases in LC(P＝0.0002).Expression of NF-κB was found in 27 of 35 cases in HCC and all of 35 cases in LC(P=0.002).Expression of TRADD was correlated with the lever of the α-fetoprotein in HCC.Conclusion TRADD and NF-κB might mainly be activated in LC with a long-term HBV infection.The abnormal pathway may play important roles in HBV-induced hepatocyte transformation and carcinogenesis.
