Abstract: Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of hCLP46 mRNA in breast cancer.Method The expression level of hCLP46 mRNA was detected with real-time quantitative RT-PCR in 48 breast cancer and non-cancerous matched tissues.Results The level of hCLP46 expression in the cancer tissues was much higher than in the corresponding adjacent tissues(t=2.368,P＜0.05).The level of hCLP46 expression in cancer tissues was only correlated with lymph node metastasis(P＜0.05).Conclusions hCLP46 is overexpressed in breast cancer,and its expression is positively correlated with lymph node metastasis,suggesting a new strategy for targeted therapy of breast cancer.
