Abstract: The incidence of radiation proctitis is relatively high in patients with locally advanced cervical cancer receiving radiotherapy. This complication is the most common side effect of radiotherapy. In recent years, many studies at home and abroad have confirmed that the radiation rectal reaction in and after radiotherapy for locally advanced cervical cancer will affect the life quality of the patients. There are many factors that affect radiation proctitis, such as external irradiation technology, intracavitary therapy,DICRU point dose and dose volume. In this paper, the influencing factors of rectal function after radiotherapy for locally advanced cervical cancer are reviewed at home and abroad,so as to provide a reference for the clinical treatment of radiation-induced rectal toxicity.
