Abstract: Objective To study the diagnosis and treatment of Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors(GIST).Methods 32 cases of GIST which were admitted from January 2001 to December 2010 at the First People′s Hospital of Harbin were analyzed retrospectively.Results 32 cases of GIST were performed by laparotomy.5 of them underwent biopsy because of extensive metastasis.27 cases were resected completely.17 cases were followed-up.8 cases had recurrence and metastisis,and 3 of them were liver metastisis.Conclusion Surgery is the main therapy,and targeted therapy can improve survival.
