Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of early enteral nutrition(enteral nutrition,EN)supported in postoperative pancreatic cancer patients of pancreaticoduedenectomy. Methods 40 postoperative patients were randomly divided into two groups that accepted enteral or parenteral nutritional(parenteral nutrition,PN)support respectively. The nutrition index, inflammatory reaction and complications of the groups were compared and analyzed. Results EN and PN were able to improve the patients′general nutrition conditions almost equally.EN support had better effects than PN in stimulating gut motion, saving economic consumption, depressing inflammatory factors and decreasing complications. The statistical difference of two methods was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion EN support could decrease complication and have a favorable effect on the recovery of postoperative pancreatic cancer patients of pancreaticoduedenectomy.
