Abstract: We reviewed the progress of the contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)and contrast-enhanced computer tomography(CECT)in the diagnosis of hepatic lesions. The diagnositic principle of CEUS and CECT is similar. Both two examinations have high sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of hepatic lesions.CECT displayed hepatic lesions without location restrictions and gas impact. It can show the contrast change of the whole liver.CEUS displayed a high detection rate of blood supply for hepatic tumors in the arterial phase, which has important diagnostic significance for density lesions or low blood lesions on CECT.It was recommended that the diagnosis of hepatic lesions should be combined with the advantages and disadvantages of CEUS and CECT.If necessary, the two examinations could be performed in combination with the improvement of diagnostic accuracy in hepatic lesions.
