Abstract: Objective To observe the influence of SPS on the proliferation of PBMC and CD8+ cells in vitro. Methods PBMC extracted from healthy donors with ficoll-hypaque density gradient centrifugation were incubated with different doses of SPS in vitro. The proliferative activity of PBMC was tested by 3H-TdR assay and the proliferative activity of CD8+ cells was tested by fluorescence-activated cell sorter(FACS).Results SPS can accelerate the proliferation of PBMC with dose-dependent manner and was obvious at 1.25g·L-1 and 0.625g·L-1 dose group(P<0.05);SPS can obviously promote the proliferation of CD8+ cells(P<0.05).Conclusion SPS can promote the proliferation of PBMC and CD8+ cells, enhance the immune function of the organism.
