Abstract: Ovarian cancer has a high morbidity and recurrence rate in gynecological tumors.It has great significance to clinical program development and the patient's survival and quality of life that the early detection of local recurrence or distant metastasis.The ¹⁸F-FDG PET/CT has higher sensitivity and specificity than CT or MRI in the detection of ovarian cancer recurrence and metastasis,early monitoring and evaluation the effect of after radiotherapy and chemotherapy.It is significance for follow-up treatment of ovarian cancer.This paper reviewed the principle and clinical utility of ¹⁸F-FDG PET/CT in recurrence,metastasis,therapeutic response as well as prognosis of ovarian cancer.
