Abstract:

Objective To investigate the expression and significance of Caspase-3 and FAK in hepatocarcinoma infected with Hepatitis B Virus after TACE.Methods To collect thirty-eight surgical specimens of hepatocarcinoma after TACE,including twenty-seven cases infected with HBV and eleven cases with no HBV.The Caspase-3 and FAK in residual tissues of hepatocarcinoma were detected by using immunohistochemical SP method. Results The positive rate of Caspase-3 and FAK in HBV group were respectively 22.2% and 81.5%,and that of no HBV group were 63.6% and 36.4% respectively. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P=0.024;P=0.017).The expression of Caspase-3 and FAK in HBV group was negatively correlated(r=-0.433,P=0.020).Conclusion HBV could suppress the expression of Caspase-3 and up-regulate the expression of FAK.HBV effect the therapeutic effect of TACE.
