Abstract: Objective To investigate the correlation of PIK3CA gene with differentiation and invasioness of gastric cancer cells. Methods RT-PCR and Transwell invasion chamber were separately used to analyze PIK3CA mRNA expression and invasiveness of three different differentiated gastric cancer cells. Results When the level of PIK3CA expression was higher, the level of cell differentiation was lower and cell invasiveness was stronger. Conclusion PIK3CA mRNA expression level was closely associated with differentiation and invasion of gastric cancer cells in vitro;PIK3CA may play an important role in cell differentiation, invasion and metastasis of gastric cancer, and is a better target for therapy.
