Abstract: Summarizes the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of gastric cancer:reversion of the pathological changes before gastric carcinoma,inducing the differentiation of neoplasm cell,regulation of signaling pathways,induction of apoptosis,inhibition of telomerase activity in tumor cells,anti-angiogenesis,reversal of multidrug resistance and regwlating immune function.These anti-tumor mechanisms are reviewed in this paper.
